How does it work?

Our new feature is based on the analysis of GPS movements of users' phones, combined with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms. The idea is simple, but extremely powerful: track and analyze the progress of movements in real time to identify passable or congested routes.

When phones record movements at a speed greater than 20 km/h, this indicates that the road is clear and can be used safely. Conversely, speeds below 20 km/h suggest traffic jams, accidents, or obstacles on the road. With this approach, our system can accurately calculate and predict safe routes to take during a disaster, in real time.

Technology that Saves Lives


When a natural disaster strikes, every minute counts. Floods, earthquakes, and fires can make roads impassable and strand thousands of people. With Prevent.syns, we enable local authorities and citizens to better understand the evolution of the danger and make informed decisions to avoid risky areas.

Indeed, instead of relying solely on static reports and road cameras, our system uses dynamic data provided by the users' own movements. This means that the information is always current and accurate. Our algorithm analyzes not only the speed of travel, but also the trajectory of evolving hazards, whether it is a rising water or the spread of a fire.
